Family
Living
- Mycroft Holmes: elder brother, 10 years older than Sherlock, 1849, legal guardian after parents died, complicated relationship because there is real love there but also over-protectiveness and Sherlock being a bratty, adventurous little brother who is too smart for his own good (but lacking experience and thinking of the bigger picture)
- Jonathan (Jon): See here, same age as Sherlock, been with Sherlock for as long as both can remember (sketch of Jon dated 1865, yet after Siger's death in August 20th of the same year)
Spoilers
SHCO only. While Sherlock calls for and references him in SHTA, Jon is gone. Elements of Jon are seen more in Sherlock proper, and the game is afoot with John Watson beside him.
Deceased
- Siger Morland Holmes: father, 1824-1865, August 20th, age 41 (Sherlock, 6; Mycroft, 16), remembers a deep feeling of loss more than his actual father, still kept his pipe as a memento
- Violet Holmes: mother, 1829-1869, April 9th, age 40, (Sherlock, 10; Mycroft, 20), adored her, shared interests, ultimately very complicated relationship towards the end of her life

- often stated as Jan. 1, 1881
- 1874: Watson Silver Medalist, University of London Boat Club
- 1878: When Watson got his degree (STUD)
- Note: SHCO Canon does not have Stamford present, and Sherlock is studying bruising on corpses instead of hematology/haematology

- Sherlock: 21 years old (1859)
- Mycroft: 31 years old (1849)
- Auction at Stonewood Manor: July 20, 1869: Sherlock and Mycroft likely gone well before then
The Awakened
- Start: September 18, 1882
- Chapter 1 newspapers
- End: during/after October 1882
- New Orleans ship schedule (possibly Oct. 25, 1882 if taking the Parisian), Sherlock says they are leaving the next day
- The schedule is an edited version of a real life example with much the same information, so this may not be game accurate.
- + voyage back to London, the Tuesday afternoon Watson is not spending with Mycroft, the lighthouse, the final return to 221B Baker Street
- Sherlock: 23 years old (1859)
- Mycroft: 33 years old (1849)
The original SHTA (2006) started on Sept. 6, 1894. SHTA (2023) started on Sept. 18, 1882. The original Frogwares Holmes had a whole 12 years (plus Reichenbach and Moriarty) over Sherry who has Cthulhu's potential awakening as his and Watson's first real case together. Adding onto the estimated ACD Holmes's birth year, Sherry is potentially 17 years younger than his original SHTA counterpart was for this major case.
No matter how you look it, this Sherlock is baby compared to most versions.
